Mobile blogging is probably the coolest thing that's happened to the world of blogging. What has made blogging a hot new commodity to start with, is the fact that posters are able to deliver news quickly and update frequently. Mobile blogging increases the speed of divulging information even further, as it allows the poster to publish content the moment something happens. This new wave of mobloggers and moblogs have revolutionized the internet by making information about current events available for everyone around the world immediately.

Some have expressed the feeling that blogging is definitively limited by the distance between a blogger and their computer. If something blog-worthy happened, one would have to run home and boot up the computer before being able to report it, and that would take time. But with mobile blogging, posters can publish content instantly, no matter where they are. Moblogging has made it possible for bloggers to post from virtually every corner of the world.

Mobile blogging is a new thing, since the technical equipment to make it happen has only just recently hit the market. In reality, the first moblog technology first appeared about a decade ago, but until the last two to three years it was not user-friendly enough to attract a lot of people.

The popularity of moblogging is growing steadily, and especially in the last few months it has attracted a lot of attention. Nobody can really tell if moblogging will be the only blogging of the future, but what is sure is that it is not going anywhere any time soon.

Thanks to mobile technology, bloggers are now able to post content and photos immediately from any location. In fact, you could immediately post about a presidential speech or the final moments of the world series as they are unfolding. This provides the public a medium to really take part to events as if they were following them on live TV, but in a more democratic way. The many advantages of moblogging place mobloggers into a special elite group which will continue to grow in the coming years.
